Sixteen international teams will gather in Costa Rica to compete for title of world champions in the prestigious tournament from March 15 to April 4; matches will be held in four stadiums in San Jose, Alajuela, Tibas and Liberia.

The Costa Rica Women’s U-17 National Team, led by coach Juan Diego Quesada, has grouped new young talent to build a strong and competitive team. Helped by support from the Costa Rica Football Federation, the team has had good training facilities and more than 61 international and national practice matches over the past two years to get ready. France is the current world champion.

Thousands of Costa Ricans celebrated the announcement that Marc Anthony Marc Anthony Concert will be in Costa Rica in February 2014

Date first appeared on the agenda of activities that the Puerto Rican artist has on his website, and then confirmed by Juan Carlos Campos, from the production company One Entertainment.

So it’s official: Marc Anthony will be performing in Costa Rica on Thursday February 27th at the Ricardo Saprissa Stadium in Tibás, as part of a tour that will also take him to Colombia, Venezuela, the USA, the Dominican Republic, Argentina and Uruguay.

Campos said the production will be the name of One Entertainment and Credomatic will offer discounted tickets for fans and customers. “People should hurry, because we believe that the tickets will be sold out quickly,” said Campos.

At the same time, the producer revealed that tickets will go on sale next week through the website www.eticket.cr, but he did not specify which day.

Campos reported that for each entry that is sold, $ 1 will be donated (about ¢ 500) to the Maestro Cares Foundation, led by singer, with the goal of building schools and helping young people.

Aerosmith Concert in Costa Rica 2013: The legendary classic rock band Aerosmith will be making aconcert tour stop in Costa Rica on the Global Warming World Tour.  One of the America’s iconic bandsthat have sold more than 150 million records worldwide will be appearing at the National Stadium in San Jose, Costa Rica on the evening of October 1st.  Band Members: Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Tom Hamilton, Brad Whitford and Joey Kramer. The tour producer Flevent announced the third tour of Aerosmith in Costa Rica.  The last time Aerosmith played in Costa Rica was in 2010, in the Autodromo La Guacima.  Before that, it was more than a decade, since Aerosmith Band has visited Costa Rica.  Since 2012, the Global Warming Tour Aerosmith has been playing concerts in over 60 countries in North America, Asia and Oceania, in order to promote Music from Another Dimension!, The latest album of Aerosmith.

Costa Rica drew 1-1 at Jamaica. The U.S. beat Mexico 2-0 and qualified for the 2014 soccer World Cupalong with Costa Rica after Honduras drew 2-2 against Panama in a later kickoff. Their berths in the2014 tournament were confirmed when Honduras drew 2-2 against Panama later Tuesday.
